Happy Leap Day!

I'm back from Canton. I had a wonderful time shopping and people watching, and, of course, eating. Canton Tradesday is known for its great junk food. I was good, though. The only thing I ate there was a taco salad, and you know how healthy that is (compared to the deep fried twinkies I had the last time I was there).
I bought some stuff for my booth and a pretty music stand that Sam was wanting (I had told him there were no music stands in Canton. He liked being right. And, of course, I did like finding it.) The one thing I bought for myself was a little wall hanging. I liked what it said and that's why I bought it.
I will leave you with its wonderful message:
"Make time for Quiet Moments as God whispers and the world is loud."

I just read about your "whim of a trip," and yes, I am jealous. BUT, I'll sort of be taking a whim of a trip in a week (despite the fact that it's a bit planned out...the destination is still TBA), so I won't have to be jealous anymore.

Yes, that is a shorter list of my favorite books. I haven't updated it since I first made my blog. The term "favorite" is not exactly accurate when it comes to listing the books that I've read. Usually, if I read a book and like it, then I will put it amongst my "favorites" because I think it's worthy of being mentioned as something that made an impact on me. If I don't like a book, I won't list it amongst anything. If I do like a book, I like to let my friends know what type of material that I like to read and maybe spark an interest in them. You see?

BUT, if I'm being honest, probably my REAL favorites are these: Life of Pi, Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter series, and The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time.

Mm-hmm. Amazing books.
