Friday my nephew-in-law, John Huffman (pictured here with son, Andrew), posted a post titled "I Want To Live in Obama's World" on his blog that is amazing. Well, he's a great writer for sure and has even been published in some online magazines - can't remember which.
It happens that I agree with his views in this post I'm referring to, but even if YOU don't agree - you MUST read it. . . well, to see how good a writer he is. Click HERE for it. (And the post before it is good, too. It links to a great article by Peggy Noonan.)

I agree -- John is an excellent writer, I like the way he thinks too, regardless of whether or not I agree with him. Maybe I'm just a dreamer, but I sure want to believe that we can move toward something new in our society and politic, that we're not stuck with McCain's world forever. I like hope, and what is it the Bible says about people perishing without it? Even if Obama's idealism doesn't fully pan out to reality, I think our country most certainly needs a good dose of hope right about now -- someone to lead us to be better individuals as well as a better society. That would be a step in the right direction. While I was not thrilled with the choice of Biden, I also think he could have chosen a lot worse, and at least Biden has international political experience.
I tell you, the Huffman family has got to be one of the most gorgeous looking families on the planet -- like you said, Dreamy John, and breathtakingly beautiful Elizabeth, and those babies melt me down into a puddle on the floor. And then you add smart and good to that -- what a winning combination.
Finally, your cartoon yesterday was hilarious! I like your new look on that blog.
Do you know of any young person needing to share an apartment? Grant is desperately looking for a roommate, and I thought perhaps you might know of someone. He lives across the street from TCC.
their new little baby is SO cute! They are one good looking family!
This was a GREAT article.
