You must see (and hear) this guy . . .

Click HERE to go to Will's other blog for the viewing. It will take about 4 minutes. It's worth it. It's the Nov. 10th post called "And now . . . this guy!"
That's all. . . . but you better go there.

Oh wait. Do this also: Go to Rob's blog (by clicking HERE) and tell him your top five favorite books. (I'm interested.)

So for today I'm not minding my own business.

I had already looked at Will's site -- I want one of those gizmo's too - wasn't that amazing??? Talk about a "musician's touch" -- it was so beautiful.

And, I'd also looked at Robs site - amazed that he read and finished that book (Michner??? I think ). I have such a hard time choosing 5. It seems that every year I have 5 fav's. Here are my five favorites from my childhood --

Madelyn, Little House Series, Caddie Woodlawn Series, A Wrinkle in Time, Anne of Green Gables Series, Nancy Drew Mysteries (all of them), Heidi series, Charlottes Web, Little Women, The Adventures of Danny Meadowmouse, Tom Sawyer, The Once and Future King.

Ok, that was twelve. See, I can't choose.

As an adult, my fav's are anything by Maya Angelou, anything by Louis L'Amour, all of Willa Cather's books, Pride and Prejudice, How Green Was My Valley, the books written by Isabella Bird, and the books by Mitch Albom.

I think my all time favorite though is "The Poisonwood Bible" by Barbara Kingsolver. The first page has got to be the most beautiful piece of writing I've ever seen.

So, there you go -- didn't even put a dent in my list though.

As for getting together I can't do it on Dec. 1, but other than that day, I think that first week is pretty open for me.

Loved the trip down musical memory lane from your Monday post -- haven't played those songs for a while. Must get them out and doodle around with them.

And finally, thanks for faithfully reading my story. Not everyone is a sweet enough friend to plow through a first draft like you're doing. Your comments are SO encouraging, and actually, you're helping me keep up -- I know Nancy is waiting for that day's installment, so I had better get it written and posted, haha. Seriously, your support has been helpful. Thanks!
