My Favorite Things . . .

For Christmas last year (last week) I got some WONDERFUL gifts:

The 1,000 Places book and travel journal were from Sam - with this message, "When the economy gets better (the recession is over) I'll take you to a place on the globe that YOU pick!" (I told you I live a dream life. - 'Course we may not be traveling for another decade or so. ...Still.)

The DOODLE DREAMS book was part of Will's gift and it's become one of my favorite books of all time. (Last year I started doodling as part of prayer time and memorizing Scripture, and while watching TV (I had read an article about it and started doing it- I'll blog about it someday) and, well, Will knew that and appropriately got me this book! Oh, he also gave me a Dare to Dream calendar(!!!) (among other things).

The "My Heart Sings" wall hanging was from Laura. I love how it looks on the wall in the kitchen nook. I think I'll get another one of those thingies (yay Hobby Lobby) that I put above it and put it underneath it.

I also got some other treasures (books by Francine Rivers from my mother, a beautifully framed picture of the Huffman family, and other gifts). If I listed them all I would omit some.

Christmas was wonderful.
I repeat, WONDERFUL.
