Last night . . .

.... we celebrated my mother's birthday! (It's actually next Monday, but Sam and I will be in OK then, so Elizabeth will honor Mother at her (Elizabeth's) house. Last night we did it at our house.) Here are some pics (click to see bigger).....

It was a happy night.

Your mom looks so young! Those are some good genes, they are. Love the picture of Elizabeth and Andrew, too.

What a fun birthday party! What sort of cake is that you baked??

Thank you for the very kind words on my blog.

GLORIA's!!! Got you note -- let's beat the crowd - 11:50 is perfect.

I left a message on your cell, but here's my question -- remember the guy named Greg something or other who was at BVCC when I first came on staff? He was adult ed pastor, I think, and moved away to Georgia. What is his last name? Dan Zuefeldt is in Atlanta and wants to call him, and NOBODY can remember his last name. He was at BVCC the same time as Tim Bobo -- the staff was Sam, Julie, Tim, Greg, Keith, and me and the church met in the shopping center on Davis. He was a graduate of Dallas Seminary. I remember nearly everything about him except his name.

Julie can't remember his name, Susan and Keith can't remember, neither can I though I can see his face. Dan's got all of us gnawing on our brains trying to remember his name. Can you help us all get a good night sleep tonight?

See you tomorrow!!!!
