Today . . .

... in the tea room I played the "Happy Birthday" song at least 4 times to 4 different ladies. How fun was that? Well, fun!

I also played some Easter songs, like "Were You There?", "Jesus Paid It All", "Lord, I Lift Your Name On High", etc. It's always good to notice people mouthing the words to such songs. It's like we have a connection-- which we do.

Here are two quotes, plus a cartoon that I think is sobering.

"The cross of Christ shows us that God's love is of deepest descent...universal distribution and of eternal duration."
- Dr. Fred Barlow

"Earth's saddest day and gladdest day were just three days apart!"
- Susan Coolidge

Lots of birthdays today -- what a celebration! I LOVE "Lord, I Lift Your Name on High"... Do you know "You are My All in All"? That's one of my favourites. :)

Cute cartoon. ;)

My hometown...

I am thinking of my hometown now. Mission, Texas. And McAllen, Texas. And Mercedes, Texas, where I was born. And Donna, Texas, so near there...
