Pancake breakfast pictures . . .

It was great fun.
I think I was the only person there taking a picture of her half-eaten pancakes. They were as delicious as I remembered, and I finished them, of course.
This is the best tasting homemade syrup you've ever tasted.
Here are the cooks in the kitchen...

This is the lady taking tickets and selling bake sale items. Mother bought a delicious-looking cake for Monday night!

And here is the church...
(Sam and I were married there almost 31 years ago.)

And here is the stained glass window in the sanctuary honoring my great grandparents...
It was a great morning.
Then we hurried back so I could play in the tea room . . . and got in the absolutely slowest traffic ever on I30 in east Dallas. Mother and I laughed, though. It meant we got to watch that fellow weed-eating his yard.

Life is good.

Your picture of Andrew and comment about seeing how much he grows, reminded me of something I recently read. A mother bought an XL T-shirt with the child's name on the front. Every year on his birthday she took a picture of him wearing the shirt. Then, when he grew to fit the shirt, she gave it to him with a book of all the pictures from each birthday wearing the shirt. Pretty neat!
