Laura had her 'procedures' done and is sleeping now.
The doctor said her ulcerative colitis (diagnosed 3 years ago) is responsible for her problems lately. Fortunately her colitis has not gotten worse since her last colonoscopy. He did an upper GI probe, too, and found 4 ulcers in (on) her stomach.
Biopsies are being done, but that is routine in this kind of thing. Results from those will take about a week.
Thank you for your prayers! The medicine the doctor has prescribed should put her on the mend, at least for now.
P.S. Laura doesn't mind anybody knowing about all this stuff, otherwise I would have just written the first sentence of this post and hit 'publish'.
Thanks again for your interest and your prayers.

Rest well, Laura-Laura.
Praying for you!
I'm glad to hear things are well, but I'm sorry to hear about the ulcers! When will they know the results from the biopsy? Will she need surgery to remove them or will the medicine fix that?
