Here's my dad's family picture (taken, I believe, in the mid 1940's). Top, from left, his mother (my Grandmother Jennie - who was much prettier than this picture), Granddaddy Andy (known as Nuel to everyone else); bottom, Aunt Helen Ruth (she nixed the 'Ruth' part when she went to college, but she's always 'Helen Ruth' to us.), and my dear Daddy...
The Nuel White gang (Helen Ruth is the second from the right on the back row)...
Second cousin-in-law Cindy taking charge of taking the picture of Sabri's family...
Cindy's handiwork through the years...
Last year's reunion poster (by Cindy)...
Faye and Sherry, uncovering the covered dishes...
Lauren, liking the dessert table...
Eating...
Helen Ruth's sons, Steve, Brian, David. Their little sister, Carol, and her family couldn't come- sigh. Neither could Brian's (sigh) --- 'course neither did mine (BIG SIGH)...
David with daughter, Kim...
Steve's wife,Lori with their kids, Bethany and Brad...
It was a fun reunion.
On the way home, Mother and I went to a blueberry farm and got 2 gallons of blueberries. Then we stopped at a roadside stand and got some home grown peaches. Nothing like East Texas peaches. mm.
(P.S. Will and Laura both worked in the tea room Saturday, and Sam had some stuff to do because he worked Friday bringing Laura home from Waco - and he thought he might be going to a church conference in Michigan on Sunday, but that didn't pan out. I write all that to explain why they didn't go to the reunion! (I knew you were wondering- ha!))

Great post!! It's cool to see even more of the great White family.
Looks like a lot of fun at the reunion!
But tell me, what in the world did you do with 2 gallons of blueberries?!?!
It looks like a lot of fun and such amazing food!!!! I saw Grandmother at church on Sunday - she said she had a good time!
Teri, I only took about a quart or two of blueberries. Mother was going to freeze some of them, and make lots of blueberry pies!! And she makes a yummy blueberry pie!!
That platter of fish made my mouth water, and I'm in complete agreement with little Lauren about that dessert table. Ummm mmmm.
Looks like a good time was had by all.
