Mother/daughter lunch today!

Laura and I met in the tea room at the Montgomery St. Antique Mall in Fort Worth. We had a great visit.

She had come down from Denton to do some research at the Kimball Art Museum and since it's not too far from that antique mall we made our plans. They included a very good lunch, though the chicken salad and poppy seed dressing weren't nearly as good as LoneStar's tea room. The bread pudding was amazing, but so different from LoneStar's that it's like comparing apples and oranges. Both are delicious.

If someone paid me I would love to be a restaurant critic.

You wouldn't even have to pay me.

Just feed me.

And let me bring Laura.

I haven't been to that antique shop. Must check it out one of these Thursdays. I was in Lone Star last Saturday, checked out your booth, I agree -- Lone Star has the best tea room around.

When for Gloria's? I'm READY!!!!
