Yesterday . . .

. . . I was playing along in the tea room and all of a sudden some Red Hat ladies walked to the piano and started singing.....
Hmm, I thought. . . . Sometimes it's not a good thing when people come over and start singing.

Ah, but they sounded like an angelic ladies' choir! (I found out some of them are in a church choir together.)

They sang about six carols in all and had to finish when their food came.

All the other customers clapped! It was so fun!

If you don't know what Red Hat Ladies are click HERE for the Red Hat Society website. It's quite an organization. Mother and I were part of a midcities' group for a while, but got too busy.
(Oh, if you're under 50 you wear pink and lavender. Of course I've worn red and purple for a few years now.)

The point of the Red Hat ladies? To have fun. Period.
(Well, that and to look kind of funny).

How fun! We see them out and about near my parents quite a bit. They always seem to be having a good time, which makes me smile. Looks like you had a good time with them, too. :)
