I have some questions...

Why does the store TUESDAY MORNING call itself that?

Why does the sun lighten our hair, but darken our skin?

Why doesn’t glue stick to the inside of the bottle?

Why is lemon juice made with artificial flavor and dishwashing liquid made with real lemons?

Why isn’t there mouse-flavored cat food?

If flying is so safe, why do they call the airport the terminal?
-------

If you have the answers to any of these questions, leave a comment here - or somewhere - with your answer(s).
Thanks.

-------

Clearly I wanted to do something different on my blog just now.... after I found some of those questions.

Oh, here's another one that I posted on Facebook:
If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of progress?

(I thought that was a good question.)
-------

In closing, here's a picture of Laura and Ryan's new home in Denton... It is delightful... and has only one bedroom and one bathroom.
(That's the kind of house I want next... low maintenance.)
--------

(I hope you don't mind my changing blog backgrounds all the time.
There just are so many to choose from ... plus, I always like to redecorate.)
(You can almost feel this background, don't you think?)

A LOOOONG time ago, Tuesday Morning was only open one Tuesday Morning a month, thus the name. My mom used to clear that Tuesday morning and go. It was always packed with people, and it was downtown somewhere. I remember going to it, stopping for lunch at the Spanish Galleon Seafood restaurant, and then spending the afternoon at Pier One. It was sort of like like First Monday in Canton, though much, much smaller.

So that's my contribution.

Love the Maxwell's cute, cute, cute house.

And finally, I like it that you change your background all the time. Keeps it interesting and whimsical.

That is a really cute house! I'm curious about all flavored pet food. How do they know what it really tastes like? Do they have tasters?

Yes, our house is very cute. Someday it will be so on the inside as well! For now it is madness.

Those are good questions. I've wondered about the sun one too.

Being Beth answered the only one I knew! I remember a few times in elementary school my mom would let me go with her to Tuesday Morning and then we'd have a lunch date. Skip school for a shopping event? Sure! Why not!

One of my kiddos asked the glue question last year for his science fair project. He did a great job and decided that he thought it had something to do with the water in the glue evaporating. If the lid stays on, it doesn't evaporate, and doesn't get dry and hard. Smart kiddo!

Lastly (this comment got real long real quick! :)), I LOVE all of your backgrounds!
