...to describe my 40th year high school reunion!
It was wonderful, marvelous, fantastic, fun, heart-warming, awesome, inspiring, amazing, loving..... and on and on and on.....
Here we were Friday night...(click pictures to enlarge)
Then Saturday night...
Here are just the gals on Saturday night...
(Oops. We didn't get a picture of just the guys. Well, I mean, we, the Carmacks, didn't get one.))
Here is the group from Bryan Elementary...(From left: Jack, Charles (Dubby), Myra, me, Ken (Kenneth))
Here I am with Mr. and Mrs. Gus Zapata. She was our geometry teacher our sophomore year, and he was the assistant principal, and then later the principal for many years.
Here I am with Mrs. Lydia Rodriguez. She was my Spanish teacher. Her late husband was my seventh grade math teacher.
Here I am with some of 'the girls'....
Here I am with some of 'the guys'...
Here I am with Twinkle (Cecilia)...
Here's Diana (our leader) giving instructions... I hope she and her committee are getting some rest now.
(I had a picture of Elva giving her flowers - with members of her committee: Nilda and Diana Flores Alcocer (pretty name, huh?) nearby, but it wouldn't download... or upload... or whatever you say. ... Rats.)
Speaking of them (the committee) they worked up great name tags.
Without them we might not have recognized each other!!
Laughter was the main thing we did all weekend.......ah, so much laughter.
Needless to say, I had A WHOLE LOTTA FUN!!!!!!!
(My next post will be pictures of sights around Mission (if I can download (or upload) them)... with commentary, of course.)
(Later I will post a post about how to be a spouse of a person who goes to a high school reunion.)
(I know you're excited.)
