That picture was taken over a year ago.
Is that not the sweetest thing?

And now there's this (I'm going to copy and paste from Caroline's mom's blog):
On Wednesday, August 11th, our sweet Caroline prayed to receive Christ in her heart.

"If you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
Romans 10:9

We are rejoicing in her new life and are so thankful for her precious heart!!!!!

She had been talking with us about salvation for about 6 months or so and about a week before that Wednesday, she asked twice if she could "pray for Jesus to save her." We made sure she understood what that meant and why it is so important.

Here is a picture I took of her over a year ago... looking back of course and thinking of this past Wednesday, it brings tears to my eyes. We are so thankful for our sweet little girl.

And then Elizabeth put up that picture that I started the post off with.

Here is what I wrote as a comment to E's blog post (so you'll see what I think).
Oh my goodness! That is WONDERFUL!

I know she's young... but I also know she's wise beyond her years... and I'm glad you didn't thwart her longing.

So I'm rejoicing that I have another sister-in-Christ!

My next post will be about Sam's wonderful Aunt Martha. She died last night.

She was truly one of the most Godly women we have ever known (and we've known many).

Her funeral is tomorrow afternoon.

If you did not know her I want you to meet her ...
... in my next post.
