... for precious Amanda.
Saturday morning she went into her mother's bedroom and found her in bed, not breathing.
They had lived together all of Amanda's life.
They had made plans for the weekend.
They had watched a movie and had popcorn together Friday night.
There was no clue what Amanda would find the next morning.
The funeral is scheduled for Wednesday.
Please pray for strength, and wisdom in decision-making, and faith, and comfort... for Amanda and her family.
(I love that picture of Amanda and me. It was taken last May at Laura's bridal shower at Bear Valley Community Church.)
Now I want to thank all of you SO MUCH who commented on my last post entitled "Where were you" telling us where you were on 9/11/01.
If you haven't read the comments of that post, please take the time to do so. There are over 20 of them.... and they are all wonderful.
If you don't have time to read them all be sure and read Maria's. Whoa.
And add your own. It's not too late.
P.S. I've put up a new little poll (upper right).
'Fly' won the last one... for "which would you rather be able to do?": 'read minds', 'fly', 'become invisible' or 'be faster than a speeding bullet.'
(I voted for 'become invisible'... but 'fly' was my first runner-up.)
P.S. Don't forget to pray for Amanda.
Crazy days... have brought us back together. Sam and I took the 'quarantining suggestion' made last March seriously and quarantined ...
Maybe I have too much time on my hands. (NO!!!!! ---- I used to have NO time on my hands -- so don't take time away from me now!!!) ...

If you live in Kentucky you tell folks which county you're from, not which town, well, unless, I guess you're from Louisville or Lex...
