When I saw that sign I got sad... that young mothers need to work to make money...
... and have to watch their kids grow online.
Well, at least there's that.
(And don't email me... I know that lots of mothers need to work - and thank heavens for good daycares!)

Oh that makes me sad, too. :(
But those pictures make me smile!!!!!!! Oh, sweet babies!! And their mommies!
Sweet babes!
I am SO thankful that I don't have to work and that my hubby supports and encourages my dream of being a stay at home mom... but if I HAD to work to make money (which would have to be a lot of money, considering the price of daycare these days...), I would want to work somewhere that I could see my child throughout the day.
And I would probably cry every time I logged on to that website.
I went back to work when my one-and-only son was 2. Was grateful I had those first two years at home with him. Was also very grateful that I was able to have him in daycare in the same building where I worked in downtown Calgary. We were able to have lunch together almost every day, and I could pop down and see him for a few minutes during the day on my "break." We rode the C-train together to and from work every day, and actually got to hang out a lot. Also, I was able to pop in at the daycare very easily if there was ever a problem. So I was very blessed - had the benefit of the second income, along with the benefits of having my little one very close by.
