Colder than Alaska....

That's
what
they're
saying
the
temperature
is
here
this
week
in
the
Metroplex.

Brrr.

But does that mean Sam and I are staying inside?

No.
Sam can drive in anything.

'Course that doesn't mean
that other drivers can.

A few years ago he went out
in the ice to get something,
and was plowed into by a car
driven by a 16-year-old whose
father was trying to teach him
to drive on ice. (No one was hurt.)

Why they weren't 'practicing' on
a school parking lot who knows.

So even if you feel confident
driving out there, there are
others who may be confident but are crazy.

Of course everybody knows that last sentence.   Anyway,  be safe.
------

On a different note, I think
those 'wolves'
we saw (last post)
may have been
coyotes.
They looked
more like
the picture
of that coyote
on the right.
------

In other news, I'm glad no one (yet) has voted for cheerleaders in my poll. Neither team in the Super Bowl has cheerleaders!
------
In other news, soon I will be (finally) posting pictures of Will and Bailey's wedding! (Yay!--- I got them!!)
------
In closing, here's a quote I just found (that I like)...
There is a privacy about it which no other season gives you.... In spring, summer and fall people sort of have an open season on each other; only in the winter, in the country, can you have longer, quiet stretches when you can savor belonging to yourself.
~Ruth Stout

Stay safe.

What a wonderful and self-searching quote. The snow is so beautiful this morning and so peaceful. It surely gives us pause to stop and think of all that God has created.

I voted for "none of the above" because I haven't watched the superbowl in years. So I'm not looking forward to any of those.

And I like being forced to be inside, but only for like a day.
