I've come a long way, baby!
(Just saying 'baby' is coming 'a long way' for me.)

When I first started blogging (inspired by Laura) I was anonymous.
(The blogging was inspired by Laura, not the anonymous part.)

Then, after about a year, I admitted I was the one writing the blog.

But on my profile pic I only had a coffee cup.  (Well, last summer I had a glass of lemonade.)

Now I have a picture of myself and Baby Anna on my blog profile pic!

... And did you notice my blog header today?
(That was inspired by Elizabeth, who last night taught me how.)

Part of me thinks it's too much.  Too much of me, that is.
(I may change it to pictures of things I like ... or cartoons... or whatever.)

For now I'll leave it up.
(I just noticed that the picture on the right of Laura and me is cut off.  Laura is cut off!   (Clearly I haven't mastered the program.))

I'll leave you with some anonymous quotes that I like.

I call them:

Always laugh when you can. It is the cheapest medicine.

Take me as I am or watch me as I go.

O stands for opportunity, it is absent on yesterday but available in today and tomorrow.

The reason a dog has so many friends is that he wags his tail instead of his tongue.

When life knocks you to your knees, pray there.

Personally, I LIKE it! Also like your blog profile photo. I think people like to see someone's face - especially one as pretty as yours!

I love this whole are owning yourself, what a splendid idea. The more you share of yourself, the more there is for us to love about you. The pictures across the top are wonderful...don't you dare chicken out. You are a brave soul...thank you for being you.

My hometown...

I am thinking of my hometown now. Mission, Texas. And McAllen, Texas. And Mercedes, Texas, where I was born. And Donna, Texas, so near there...
