Last Thursday...

Last Thursday marked a year of Carla and me finding each other on Facebook... and renewing our friendship/sisterhood.

That's us after enjoying a delicious meal at Chuy's in Waco.

Kenzie joined us, but I forgot to have the waiter take our picture.

Ah, but I got one of her in her cute bedroom...

Kenzie is growing up.
She's giving away some of her dolls.

Her Strawberry Shortcake doll made its way to the car seat that I keep in my car for little folks....

(Strawberry thought that maybe a little girl in Southlake might enjoy being her friend now.)

That Kenzie, she's always thinking of others... and using her craft skills for them. Look at the 'stepping stone' she made for me!!!
I'm not using it as a stepping stone now because I want to see it everyday. I put it by the door where I see my bunnies.

Life is sweet.

Well, hot right now, but sweet.

In closing, I have to share with you a great quote that my neighbor Connie put on Facebook...
"What dreadful hot weather we have! It keeps one in a continual state of inelegance."   - Jane Austen

I thought that was great.

Thanks, Connie!

And thanks, Carla and Kenzie!!

I'd want to see that stone, too. It's happy full of happy colors and thoughts.

And I'm pretty sure Strawberry Shortcake can find a few friends over here. :)

I really like that stepping stone and what a great place for it. Also really like Kenzie's bedroom - great colors!

Jordan's surgery went well, and so did the waiting room - very peaceful and an easy relaxed time. Thanks for your prayers all around.

My hometown...

I am thinking of my hometown now. Mission, Texas. And McAllen, Texas. And Mercedes, Texas, where I was born. And Donna, Texas, so near there...
