Wednesday Whimsy...

.... from LoneStar Antiques....

First some lovely people who came to eat in the tea room...
From left: Laura (my daughter), Effa (from IRELAND!!), Effa's roommate (in D.C.) and Laura's best friend, Allison, and Allison's mom, Dorothy. They came on Monday....

Then Tuesday (yesterday), look who came!...
That's Kenzie, Dylan, Carla, and me.

After we ate we looked around the antique mall...
Dylan wanted to take the car home, but getting it to Waco was going to prove too hard to do in this heat. Otherwise....
---------
Now here is some more LoneStar whimsy...

Yep, I guess that Samsonite suitcase is an antique.
(I'm feeling old.)
------
If you get a chance come out to LoneStar Antiques, 5605 Denton Highway, Haltom City, TX, (northeast of Fort Worth) off of NE Loop 820, Exit 19.
You'll find some great treasures.... and some good eats.... and I just might play "Tumbling Tumbleweeds" on the piano for you!!! (Or "White Christmas" - which we're all dreaming of!)

yes, I AM dreaming of Christmas right now.

I saw that green dress when we were there. It is fun.

I really like the background on your blog! It made me smile nad just breathe in those vibrant colors.

I love the green dress - wouldn't wear it, but it makes a cool statement.

About Christmas...I'm not ready for the stress, but the winter weather sounds mighty good.
