The house is quiet...

... which is a pretty big deal around here.

I'm not at my house... but at the house that's usually filled with children's laughter - or sometimes (not often) crying.
And maybe the movie, THE LION KING, is on.
Or maybe "Dora, the Explorer".
(Andrew particularly likes "Diego".)

This morning I watched THE LION KING twice.
I just couldn't resist.

Here's a picture I like taken a while back...
That little girl is going to be one year old soon.
They just grow up too fast, don't they?
(I've held her a lot today... and she's been smiling all the while.)
I have taken other pictures, but I can't download them - or upload them yet.
I'll load them soon.

On a different note, Click HERE to read about a book Rob Carmack wrote - with Doug Walker. It's about adoption... and more.
And click HERE to hear Doug being interviewed on the radio this week (FM 89.7)
You will NOT be disappointed if you go to those sites - and find out what a wonderful thing our nephew Rob has been doing, and Doug, too. (Well, besides everything else they've been doing.)
Have a great weekend.
A new poll is up for your enjoyment.

Just ordered Rob's new book - can't wait to read it. Thanks for letting us know it is now available.

My hometown...

I am thinking of my hometown now. Mission, Texas. And McAllen, Texas. And Mercedes, Texas, where I was born. And Donna, Texas, so near there...
