I'm giving myself some 'Atta-girls!"

With these cartoons
I bet
you can
guess what
I'm doing now....

Well, I'm not exercising this very minute,
but TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(If I say it here, well, I have to be accountable.)

Now these next two cartoons I know are going to surprise someone.

(Yes, Laura, we're actually FINALLY recycling!!)

The city of Colleyville has given out some fancy new recycle bins, and well, since we're all about fancy, we're IN!! We're doing it. Our bin is close to being full!
(If there's hope for us, there's hope for anyone.)

(I guess this means we're GREEN now??)

This last cartoon is about writing a book.

No, I'm not writing a novel.... but I AM FINALLY doing some work on that Bear Valley book that I started years ago (many of you know of what I speak)!!!

It won't be perfect.
And that's why I'm back at it:
I'm trying to let go
of my perfectionism.
(Otherwise I was (am) paralyzed.)

Now I'm embracing MEDIOCRITY!!!

Maybe that way it will get finished!!!!

Hurray for MEDIOCRITY!!!

Hooray Nancy!!!

Skinny, green, and imperfect. It doesn't get much better than that.

Atta go, Momma!

And you know, exercising can be fun too. You should find something you can do that you enjoy, like a fun class or something.

And I'm glad to hear you guys are recycling. And you both drive hybrids, right? Totally green. Now you just need to start using reusable grocery bags :)

You aren't anywhere close to mediocrity. I'm just saying.

I'm proud of you! It sounds like fun things are in store!

I could probably use a dose of this blog.... haven't been to the gym in 8 weeks.... I recycle only when its jugs or I run out of space in my trash can... and I'm pretty sure I haven't blogged in about a month (or done LOTS of things I want to get done).

PS - I think you are the perfect person to write the Bear Valley book and I cannot wait to read it.

My hometown...

I am thinking of my hometown now. Mission, Texas. And McAllen, Texas. And Mercedes, Texas, where I was born. And Donna, Texas, so near there...
