First day...

of the year.

What to blog about?

Well, the Cowboys are playing, and I'm always for them.

Well, I grew up in the same hometown as the famous Tom Landry. (YES, I DID!)

Unfortunately there aren't many men as fine as Tom Landry.
And he is gone now.

Still... I'm a diehard Cowboys' fan.

On a different note, the year is new.
And I've quit playing Christmas carols in the tea room.

Both this year and last I said to myself, "If I ever play "Frosty, the Snowman" again it will be too soon.
Ah, but I really enjoyed it.
I so enjoy playing in that tea room.  Thank you, Jennifer and Ronnie, for the opportunity!!
This post doesn't have much else to offer... but I did just put a (totally random) poll up (upper right).

And I found this super quote.

You will like it.
(I guarantee!)

"A person who has good thoughts can never be ugly. You can have a wonky nose and a crooked mouth and a double chin and stick-out teeth but if you have good thoughts they will shine out of your face like sunbeams and you will always look lovely."

Roald Dahl
Isn't that great?
Soon, I will post a 600 word essay that I found of why being a Christian is the THING TO BE.
