Whew... I'm tired...

... but happily so...

Sam and I went to the Baylor/Texas Tech game yesterday at Cowboy Stadium in Arlington. We weren't expecting to win - even though Baylor beat No. 1 Kansas State last week.
(Baylor's had good games and bad games this season... and well, our hopes weren't too high.... Ah, but we won in overtime!!)

Here's after the game...
... the Baylor crowd is singing "That Good Old Baylor Line".
(And they (we) were all smiling.)

SIC 'EM, BEARS!
-------------

Different note, Friday I decorated the house for Christmas...

I'll show more pictures later.
(I like the simplicity of those two pictures, frankly.)
(Right now I'm so tired I'm needing simplicity.)

So Thanksgiving is over, and we're on to Christmas.

And LONESTAR ANTIQUES (5605 Denton Highway, Haltom City, TX) is too!!

The Christmas Village Train is up in the tea room!...
Here are Terri and Trish putting it up...

And here's Terri the next day putting on the finishing touches...

Here's a picture I took from two years ago...
(You can tell that the village makes people smile.)

If you get a chance, come check out the village.  It's free!!

I might be beside it playing Christmas carols!

Which Christmas carol do you like the most?
Leave a comment telling me, if you wouldn't mind.... either here or on Facebook.
It could be an anonymous comment... that's okay.
And you don't have to leave a comment... but just so you know, I get comment-needy sometimes.

C'mon! Tell me which Christmas carol you like the most - OR the least!!!  (Don't think too hard.)
I would LOVE to know!!

Excited to come see the Christmas village! Favorite carol . . .

I like..O Come all Ye Faithful and The Christmas Song. That's just off the top of my head, really it is hard to decide.

This year my favorite Christmas song is "I'll be home for Christmas" (not sure if that's considered a carol or not.)

I can't wait to be home for Christmas!!!

But I also love Silent Night, O Holy Night, and Hark the Herald Angels Sing. Like Laura, those are just off the top of my head, because I like a lot of Christmas songs.

I haven't listened to any yet this season, I think I will now!

I love the rolling "gloria's" of "Angels We Have Heard on High."

"O Come All Ye Faithful" in Latin makes me think about centuries and centuries of faithful people all singing the same song.

Thanks for your blog, Nancy. It's a favorite all year round.
