O Christmas Tree...

We used to have a traditional Christmas tree every Christmas...
... then I decided to keep it up ALL YEAR ... for several years.

We'd use it to celebrate everything from July 4th, to birthdays, to other holidays ...

On every special occasion we'd have it.

Then I'D HAD IT.

Last year I gave the tree away.

So this year I just did this, with three little trees I already had....

They don't have any twinkling lights on them, but you can always turn on the overhead light.

When Sam first saw them he thought of the three crosses at the crucifixion of our Lord.
So now I think of that, too.
Which is wonderful.
WONDERFUL.

In closing here's a Christmas joke that I really like (you've probably heard it already... so have I, but I still like it)....
Do you know what would have happened if it had been Three Wise Women instead of Three Wise Men?
They would have asked directions, arrived on time, helped deliver the baby, cleaned the stable, made a casserole and brought practical gifts.
