The best part of waking up...

... is knowing you're going to have breakfast with your daughter and son-in-law.
That happened Saturday morning.
(There's nothing like eating together.)

Then Sam took them to airport where they flew to Oregon...
... to stay with friends and ski, and maybe do some fly-fishing.

The term SPRING BREAK just sounds fun, doesn't it?

I don't have a spring break really, but I'm going to make it my state of mind this week.

I think I can do that.

Well, why not?

I'll be going to Oklahoma for business, but I that doesn't mean I can't think spring break.
(Maybe I'll eat an extra dessert.)

And when I play in the tea room I'm thinking I'll see some kids on spring break.
So I'll play some fun songs.
Like "Under the Sea" from THE LITTLE MERMAID.

Just thinking about this is making me smile.

The mind is an amazing thing.

I challenge YOU to think SPRING BREAK all week, too.
Oh, don't shirk your job responsibilities.
But smile.

Here's a good quote...

Life is short but a smile takes barely a second.

If you haven't taken my spring break poll (upper right) please do.

Well, it has been so long since we have had anyone around who was affected by Spring Break, I tend to forget it happens. So, I shall try and put myself in a Spring Break frame of mind. We used to go for a ski week every year in Canada during Spring Break. Except for one year when we went to Disneyworld. So I can call up those great memories and SMILE :-D
