(Lately I've been reading Sarah Young's JESUS CALLING, and have been enjoying its simplicity, yet directness, in reminding me to focus on God. After I read the little devotion and look up the Scripture verses listed, I try to remember to be thankful for blessings.. and then I pray for folks (maybe you).) (That's my formula for now.)
I took that picture looking up into the sky this morning.
That little white dot is the moon.
That little white dot is the moon.
While taking that picture, I could hear birds singing, and dogs barking in the distance, and the neighbors' water sprinkler coming on.
It was a serene time.
And I'm still having it (the serene part).
First I was sad to think about how folks hurry and scurry and miss moments like that.
Then I decided to be glad that I wasn't missing it.
But I had to take time for it.
I'm so glad I did.
(And I'm glad there's a late service at church.)
