Happiest time....

A while back Sam read of a study about when people are the happiest.  It was TIME magazine's  "Study: 23 and 69 are the happiest ages".

So maybe I have NOT had my happiest time YET!
(That picture on the left is of my version of me and Princess Nell (who is due next month!)

------
Well, I've had some pretty happy times so far.

Like yesterday.

I was with Andrew and Anna, and we went to the healthy McDonald's...
Andrew got to get one his favorite drinks, Dr. Pepper.

Dr. Pepper is a long tradition in our family.
Andrew and Anna's great great grandmother Jennie would drink one every single day,
even when she was in the nursing home.
She lived one week a way from turning 90 years old,
so I'm thinking Dr. Pepper wasn't bad for her.
-------
After we went to McDonald's we got in the car to go to gymnastics, to meet their mother and sister, who had been at piano lessons.

Andrew was quite talkative in the car.
He told me about his good friends Cooper and Caden and how they liked to play together.
I told him that I had some good friends but we didn't play a lot together, we just liked to talk.
Andrew asked, "Do you talk about animals?"
I said, "Well, not usually, though I have talked about Shiloh on occasion."
Then Andrew asked, "Do you ever talk about wild animals?"
I had to say no.

So, dear friends, when we get together next time tell me your favorite wild animal.
I'm thinking about which is mine.
------

As a closing picture, here's Caroline practicing the piano....
I can't wait till her recital later in the year.
---------

And here's a closing quote I like ....
“Beautiful music is the art of the prophets that can calm the agitations of the soul; it is one of the most magnificent and delightful presents God has given us.”
 Martin Luther
