Saying goodbye to summer....

It's October.
That means summer is over.

Here's Mother's balcony now....
Gotta love it.

And here's her front porch....
... with a close-up....
Gotta love that, too.

And I met a dear friend at Jason's Deli today and we each got their new Turkey Cranwich....
(That's the picture I got when I Google-searched it).
It was delicious.... and of course, with the turkey and cranberry sauce it made me think of Thanksgiving, which I hadn't thought of until today. (Well, last year I thought of it, of course.)

I forgot to get Nancy's and my picture together today.... but here is her Facebook photo with her dear husband, Ed....
Talk about a Godly couple.
Mm.
Mm. Mm.

After I ate the Turkey Cranwich with Nancy I headed to Starbucks to meet sweet Caroline and her kiddos (that's nephew Rob's wife and kids)....
Caroline and I talked and talked and talked.... and little Sawyer and Delia let us!!!
(Talk about being well-behaved.. mm.)

So I had to get 'in the picture', too....
Oh my, Delia is a delight!!

-----
I'm liking October.
It's being great so far.

Somewhere I read that yesterday was World Smile Day.
If you missed it, you can smile today.... and probably tomorrow.

I got that turkey cranwich sandwich yesterday for lunch! Weird! It was yummy, but I had to take the onions off :)
