Wednesday's Willy Nilly

The high today here in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex is supposed to be 82 degrees Fahrenheit.
Tomorrow the high is supposed to be 40.

This cartoon seems to fit...

(So I'm not keeping my toenails painted.)
 ----------
At this very minute I'm at the Huffman house, watching the A-Team, Andrew and Anna.  Actually I'm not literally watching them.  I'm listening to them play together upstairs, while I blog downstairs.

Earlier Andrew was standing on his head on the couch.  He said firmly, "Anna, do not ever do this yourself.  It is very dangerous."
He's a good big brother.
Oh, they have their spats, but overall they get along. (He's 5, she's 3.) (Their older sister will be 7 this month.)

Times goes too fast.  (My mind went there just as I wrote Caroline and the A-Team's ages.)

On a different note, last night I went to a delightful play, LITTLE WOMEN, THE MUSICAL.  It was performed at the Artisan Center Theater in Hurst.   Mother, Nell Hoffman and I went.
It was great.

Whenever I leave a musical there, I feel exuberant.
Last night was no exception.
-------
Well, I got Christmas up at our house this past weekend.
Of course I had to get some things for our little granddaughter.
Whoa.
(I'll show them to you later.)
This time last year we didn't know she would be here this year!
Whoa.
(Needless to say, this is a very special Christmas.)

Monday she was three weeks old.
Here's a picture of her that Will put on Facebook, November 30th
This is the caption he wrote,
"This is how she sleeps now."
That got quite a few comments, as you can imagine.

Well, I'll leave you with some quotes I think are funny...

"Once again we find ourselves enmeshed in the holiday season, that very special time of year when we join with our loved ones in sharing centuries-old traditions such as trying to find a parking space at the mall." —Dave Barry

"I stopped believing in Santa Claus when I was six. Mother took me to see him in a department store, and he asked for my autograph." —Shirley Temple
"What I don't like about office Christmas parties is looking for a job the next day."
—Phyllis Diller

And here are 2 cartoons I like...
