Ready or not....

... people grow!!!!!!

That's Lewis, Charlotte and Molly Tompkins.
(Our great nephew and nieces on Sam's side (his sister's grandchildren).
(Whoa. They're growing!)

--------
And our daughter's sister-in-law is now a high school graduate!
 That's beautiful Victoria.
OO.  Love the top of the cap!

Here she is with her brother and sister-in-law (our daughter)...
(DOESN'T VICTORIA LOOK BEAUTIFUL IN THAT PICTURE?)
(And Ryan and Laura, too.)
-------

Well, time waits for no man...
or woman!!!

I was in my favorite store today (TARGET)
and the lady checking me out asked if I was having a good day.
I said, "Why, yes! I ran into my son and daughter-in-law
and granddaughter HERE today!!"
(She congratulated me.)

Then I thought:
Wow.
I have a granddaughter.
I HAVE A GRANDDAUGHTER!
Well, I probably look like I might have a great-granddaughter...
BUT DON'T LET THE GRAY HAIR FOOL YOU....
I sometimes feel just like a girl.
(Well, maybe a grown-up girl,
but STILL A GIRL.)

Why do I say all this?
 Well, I was thinking today
about how I finished that twin-book about Peggy and me,
and how I was worried about what people might think of it.

Oh, and Sam asked me (just this morning) who I really wrote it for.
Hmm.
I said, "Well, Cap and Elizabeth (Peggy's children)."
And then I said,
"I wrote it for ME."

And then I doubted the whole project....
the whole Peggy-book project.

And
I felt as if I were in the seventh grade...
getting ready to be tested.

THEN
I happened to watch a video on YouTube
that was linked on CNN.
It was really not earth-shattering.
It was simple.
But...
I needed it.

Here it is (though I just watched only over three minutes of it).

I hope all of it is worth it.
(The part that spoke to me was taking risks.)

Whoa.
Would that we would all take risks.
(I'm preaching to myself.)
