Some New Favorites!

I have some new favorite places and things!

First, there is a GREAT little resale shop in Grapevine...
It's at Glade and 121 (northeast corner), next to the Hallmark store,
which is down the way from Fuzzy's Tacos.
It's not a big shop, but it has some great clothes, shoes, jewelry and purses.
Mother and I have been there a few times,
and have always come away with some treasure.

Not too far from there - to the south - is the ubiquitous...
A while back, we thought Chili's prices were excessive!
Now we don't!

They have this $20 menu for 2 now,
which includes an appetizer and 2 entrees.
We  really like that.

And for some delicious pizza
I recommend...

Cane Rosso ...
and Dallas has two locations.
(Cane Rosso means red dog in Italian.)
(The owner must have had a wonderful red dog.)

Sunday night, after we went to church with Laura and Ryan,
we celebrated Sam's birthday with some real Italian pizza there.

Here's the group after we'd eaten...
We were happy-happy..

(They cook their pizza for 90 seconds in ovens that are 1000 degrees hot.)
(We didn't have to wait long for our food, even though they were very busy!)

On a different note,
I've found a dishwasher detergent that I really like....
I've long been loyal to Cascade Complete,
but on a whim got the new one with Clorox.
We drink red wine (for our hearts) sometimes,
and well, our plastic wine glasses
have never looked better!!
(I was ready to throw them away.)

Another favorite of mine has become...
the wind chimes department at (Cost Plus) World Market.

Mother was wanting to get Will some wind chimes for his birthday.
He had given her some a few years back that she loved,
and well, Will, Bailey and Nell have a new home with a wonderful patio area
and well, some nice wind chimes seemed the ideal gift.

Where to buy them?
We went to some garden stores,
but weren't impressed.
And time was running out for looking online.

Ah, World Market, I thought!
I called them and they said they had many.
Boy, did they!

Here's what Mother got Will...
They looked manly enough for Will,
and they have a nice - not too loud- chime,
and they're pretty big.
Will loved them.

If you need some wind chimes, go to World Market.
Oh, and you won't break the bank!

So those are my favorite places and things for today.

And finally, here's one of my favorite quotes...
There are two kinds of people in the world -
givers and takers.
The takers eat better.
The givers sleep better.
