Precious Peeps...

Here's my great nephew Andrew the other day...
His school had a kind of fall festival... and he went as a scarecrow.
(a lovable scarecrow, as you can see)

Here's his little sister showing me her waves...
She had slept the night before with her hair in braids...
and got that lovely result.

Then I had her turn around and smile ...
Well, she'll be 4 on Sunday, so she can smile like that for awhile.

And she's a good 'color-er'...
It really is amazing how she stays within the lines,
it's like she's almost 5!

Here's her cousin Nell at the polls Tuesday...
Though she IS growing up fast, it was her mother who voted.

Yes, she's growing up...
but she still sleeps like a baby...
She's precious awake and asleep.
And here's her father helping her great-grandmother on the computer....
I love that picture.)
If you look closely at that picture,
up on the right you'll see a picture of my dad on his white horse, El Cid.
(I'll have to tell you about my dad and his horses someday. Oh yeah. )

Well, those are some of my favorite peeps.

And speaking of peeps, I found some Thanksgiving peeps you can make.

I'll close with a Thanksgiving quote I like...
The Pilgrims made seven times more graves than huts. No Americans have been more impoverished than these who, nevertheless, set aside a day of thanksgiving.
