Wednesday's Whimsy... with captions...

Here's more whimsy from LoneStar Antiques (5605 Denton Highway, Haltom City, TX).
This time I've added a new feature: captions! (Yes, I had some time on my hands.)

These are little figurines, maybe 3 1/2 inches high (or shorter).
They caught my eye right away.

This piece of furniture is a zillian times bigger than those figurines in the first picture.
(You can find things of all sizes at LoneStar!)

These magazines 'take me back'...
Oh wait, there's 'opera'.
Whoa. That takes me way back.

This reminded me of a piece my Grandmother Jennie had,
though really it's quite different.
(But I like the memory I remembered.)

I really like this.
(Mugs don't really sell well,
but I think this might be the exception.)

I think this is a classy booth.
Sometimes I just have to stand and study it.

This is a small little piece, with a little egg in it (I don't think Faberge).
Isn't this precious?

This looks like a treasure for some folks.
It makes me think of "Remember Mission, TX when..." on Facebook.
( a great FB site)

This is kind of a plain old bed,
but I like it.

This is a cute cookie jar on sale.
(I didn't see a puppy dog cookie jar.)

This is some art work of my dear daughter, making its debut at LoneStar.
I'm proud to have it in Mother's and my booth.

Yes, a suitcase can hold anything.

This is a sign that speaks for itself.

There's a lot I like about this picture... the colors, the babies, etc.

This beautiful plate is in Wanda's booth, right across from the tea room.
(I may have to splurge and buy it. I love the vivid colors)

Now this is sweet.

This is to remind you that Valentine's Day is coming.

Now those are some cute little corker porkers (piggy banks)!
Now this booth is a hodgepodge of stuff.
You'll notice some WINKS by Susan...
and some art by Laura,
and some other treasures.
(It looks better in person.)

This is actually a bumper sticker on a car of someone who was inside the mall.
It think it fits people well.

That's it.

Have a great rest-of-the-week.

We'll get to go on a double date on valentine's day! and thanks for putting my art up in your both :) i've found a place for me to buy prints cheaper and then put them in frames myself to sell at my co-op, if you are interested in that (maybe later down the line) we can talk about it when you visit in a couple weeks. I also love that plate in Wanda's both! It's pretty

Lordy Lordy, Look Who's Forty!!!
