It's Pi Day!!

I didn't know about the specialness of today until I read Dave Fuller's blog post yesterday, "Celebrate".  (Click that and read it.  You'll want to celebrate, too.)

It told Sam about it, and showed him this picture on Dave's blog...
So I'm going to buy some Fritos today.
I already have the other ingredients.
(I always have a supply of Wolf Brand Chili in my pantry.
and cheese and onions in my fridge.)
(Though onions don't need to be refrigerated, I recently learned.)

Anyway,
Sam said, "After we eat the Frito Chili Pie,
we can eat some pecan pie and maybe some lemon meringue pie."
And then I said,
"Then we can take a trip to the ER."

So do celebrate.

They have some good pies at the LoneStar Antique Mall tea room.
They usually have pecan pie, buttermilk pie, cheesecake, and other wonderful desserts.

And today I'll be playing some Irish songs, getting ready for Tuesday.

AND then I'll be going to Irving to pick up some treasures Susan Prather has made....

It should be a fun day.
