If she's not going to smile ....

... well, we won't either!!

Those four pictures are supposed to tell our story of posing with Nell-Belle,
when she's wearing her pretty new dress
that matches Sam's and my shirts.
And we wanted her to smile.

Well, that wasn't going to happen,
not when it was close to her bedtime.
(And ours.)
So we thought we'd acquiesce to her mood.

Well, then she looked not so sad,
but definitely beautiful.

(I really like Sam in that last picture.)
(Me, not so much)

That all happened on the patio at Chef Point Cafe in Watauga.

Robin, Bailey's mom, was performing (fantastically) there last night.

I did NOT get a good picture,
but this will give you an idea.

The first song Robin sang was Patsy Cline's "Walkin' After Midnight,"
and Robin nailed it!!!
And she nailed all the others, too.
(though we left before her three hour gig was over)
(I bet she was tired.)

Anyway, we had a lot of fun...
and we consumed lots of delicious calories.

If you haven't been to Chef Point Cafe,
well, your life is not complete.

It has been featured on the FOOD NETWORK'S "Diner, Drive-ins, and Dives".

You can click HERE to go to their 'review'...
and read their comments!

I do believe it has put Watauga, TX on the map, so to speak.

I hope you have a good week.
And stop by Chef Point Cafe.
Oh, and that (new) patio where Robin sang is dog friendly!

Bradley will say..."No. No pictures. No pictures!" I guess it's a hard life being a "rock star" of the toddler world. Lol
Smile or no smile....she's precious!
