You have to look to see ...

I like this picture...
Notice the smiles.
There are several.
(At least 5.)

I took this picture when little Nell was sleeping,
as her parents had gone to the hospital for her brother Liam's birth.

The smiles made me smile.
-------

The day before I took this picture (at our apartment)...
Sometimes I like to stop my world and just look around...
and see the shadows in the room,
and the glistening of the lights on, well, whatever.

That mug is my favorite. Laura gave it to me years ago.
When it's clean, I use it. Always.
And there's my Mac laptop...
and my glasses.
And Oswald Chamber's MY UTMOST FOR HIS HIGHEST book (not the updated one)....
and that pretty lamp I bought decades ago at PIER ONE...
and the string of chickens on the wall from WORLD MARKET....
and the coaster with the cross that my favorite mug is sitting on, that Elizabeth gave me.
And the brown leather of our Lazy Boy furniture from years ago.

I don't know.
I just liked that view.

But I had to look at it to see it.
(And then I took its picture.)
----------

And here are two pictures I took of pictures taken on Tuesday morning...

Baby Liam's parents were excited that he was in his going-home clothes.

Baby Liam is one special fella.
He is loved, and adored, and ...
oh, and here he is with his Grammy...
I don't know of anyone who adores him more.

-------

Life is sweet.

--------

I have a poll up (upper right) where the word 'interesting' should be 'interested'...
I hope you can vote...
if you haven't already.
