Trivia Tuesday...

On this election day I thought about finding negative trivia bits
on some candidates that I don't like,
but I decided to take the high road.

Here's the high road...

The highest road in America is the Eureka Summit on Glenn Highway in Alaska...
I just want to see the picture.
I don't want to drive it.
-------

In other trivia news....

A snail can sleep for 3 years.

Douglas MacArthur’s mother used to send letters to his military superiors
suggesting they promote her son.

The peregrine falcon dives at more than 200 miles an hour.
Whoa.

Average length of a coat hanger when straightened: 44 inches.

Forty percent of the farm-grown catfish in the United States is consumed by Texans.
(That looks 'yum' to this Texan.)

The movie IF IT'S TUESDAY, THIS MUST BE BELGIUM (1969) is my inspiration for how I promote my Trivia Tuesday blog.  The movie is "The humorous adventures of a group of American tourists taking a 18-day guided bus tour of 9 European countries."
(That's the description on IMDB (Internet Movie Data Base.)

And so since my junior year in high school (1968-69)
I've linked Tuesday to that film.
Really!
(That's some of my own trivia.)

See you next time.
