Oh, the preciousness of life....

We have a new great-nephew!!!

Here he is with his father, Rob, and his sister Delia....
Is that not the sweetest picture?

Abel is blessed...
as are Rob, Caroline, Sawyer and Delia!

In other news, we found out our daughter is expecting a BOY!!!
Here she is celebrating the blueness of having a boy!!!
(Sam is looking into turning his short beard into blue!!)

And in other opposite news, we have some sad news....
Wanda Gebhart has died.
She was Sam's secretary at Bear Valley Church for years!!!
No one was more a part of Bear Valley than Wanda.
(That above picture is of her and her beloved Jim.... Pray for him.)
She served as Sam and then Lee's secretary for over 20 years!!
She found out on her 70th birthday that her days were numbered...
with pancreatic cancer.

Her graveside service is this Wednesday, June 15th.

She was ready.

She told us so.
She was... so ready.

Would that we would all be ready.

Wanda showed us the way.

She believed in Jesus...

She was drowning, then she reached out to her Savior.

And she was SAVED.

That may sound pat... and simple... and maybe crazy.

Well, it is foolishness to those who are not SAVED.

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing,
but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

1 Corinthians 1:18

17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.”

2 Corinthians 4:17-18

Wanda saw what is unseen.
And now she is THERE.

And that is a great comfort to all of us left behind.

Oh yes.

And we're looking forward to knowing
the little ones coming after her.

Oh yes.

Life is good.
