I'm hoping my blog readers have people who love them and whom they love.
I sure do.

Here are a few of mine...

That's Penelope Faye, whom we call 'Nell'.
She is my firstborn grandchild, and she so enjoys taking care of 'BEAR' there.

And here's my dear twin's daughter Elizabeth, with her oldest, Caroline...

On Facebook, Elizabeth captioned this picture with "When your precious 10 year old asks if you want to wear matching clothes for church, you say YES, clearly! Won't last long, so I'll take it!"

Isn't that, and aren't they, beautiful?

And here's my oldest grandson, Samuel Williams Carmack VII, whom we call "Liam"...
Liam is a very special fella. He has some special needs, which make him SUPER SPECIAL.
His mom, dear Bailey Jo said on Facebook, "Liam's ready for his eye appointment."
Isn't he adorable?
Oh my yes.

And here is a sweet picture of my daughter with her husband and my other grandson...
Is that not a priceless picture???

They live in Oregon, which is FAR AWAY...
but with Facetime, and texting, and Facebook, well, they don't seem so far away.
And I'm hoping I can go up there in that FAR AWAY LAND and hug Ransom soon, like in March!

Here are some quotes I love...
“Children think not of what is past, nor what is to come, but enjoy the present time, which few of us do.”
-- Jean de La Bruyère
"We impress people with our supposed perfections but we connect with each other over our flaws." -- Donald Miller
“The way to love anything is to realize that it might be lost.”- G. K. Chesterton, "The Advantages of Having One Leg"

Here's a place I love(d)...
That's a picture of my Granddaddy Earl and Grandmother Ora's house in Oak Cliff, Dallas.
I just loved going there when I was growing up.
Love abounded there.

And here are some Winks I love...
Those are 'WINKS BY SUSAN" by my dear friend/'sister Susan Prather.
I sell them in my booth at LoneStar Antiques, and will put more pictures of them
soon on a Wednesday on WEDNESDAY WHIMSY.

[SUSAN is one my loves.]

I will close with a Bible verse I love...
My presence will go with you,
and I will give you rest.

Exodus 33:14

I think it is very important that we put our minds to people and things and sayings we love.

There is so much awfulness in this world, but there is so much to love.

My hometown...

I am thinking of my hometown now. Mission, Texas. And McAllen, Texas. And Mercedes, Texas, where I was born. And Donna, Texas, so near there...
