Hygge! What? Hygge!!!

Lately I've learned about Hygge, the trend in the Nordic cultures for self-care. (Doesn't just the term 'self-care' make you feel good? It does me.)

"Hygge" (pronounced 'hoo-ga') was written about recently in CHRISTIANITY TODAY by a writer from Portland, OR, where my daughter and her family live. Click HERE for that article. You might find yourself knowing more how to comfort yourself, especially during harsh weather.

Along that line I got a sweet package of gifts from my dear friend, Beth. She treated me to a birthday breakfast last week, and gave me this...
That is the box.

And here is what was inside that box...
Those are fantastic for pampering myself.

But look at their 'names'.
Read them all:
HAPPY PAMPER,
SOAP AND GLORY,
THE RIGHTEOUS BUTTER,
CLEAN ON ME.

Get it?
Some of related to songs and other titles.

ISN'T THAT CLEVER?!?!

And they fit in with my 'theme' today:
self-care.

Thanks so much, Beth.
