Trivia Tuesday

Elephants purr like cats do, as a means of communication.

Elephants do not get cancer. There is research going on to find out why and how that is.
Click HERE for an article on that.

For humans the normal pulse is 70 heartbeats per minute. Elephants have a slower pulse of 27 and for a canary it is 1000!

In 1939, Hitler's nephew wrote an article called "Why I Hate My Uncle."
He came to the U.S., served in the Navy, and settled on Long Island.

You can click HERE to read more about that.

Grand Rapids, Michigan was the first city in the US to put flouride in their water.

Ringo Starr’s style of drumming came about from learning to play on a right-handed drum kit,
which he still uses. Why is this notable? He’s left-handed.

You probably know this: the roar that we hear when we place a seashell next to our ear is not the ocean, but rather the sound of blood surging through the veins in the ear. Any cup-shaped object placed over the ear produces the same effect.

You probably know this, too:
It takes 17 muscles to smile --- 43 to frown.

So let's exercise the corners of our mouth ...
by smiling!!

Have a great week!!!
