We are the boss of our own schedules, right?
Well, sometimes.
This year we canceled our big Christmas morning breakfast that we've hosted for years. Why? Sam and I were both feeling puny - for a long time - plus we knew we'd have a January Christmas.
By the way, I only played Christmas tunes in the tea room three days this year. That meant I didn't get sick of "Frosty the Snowman" this year. (I brought it home, so I could play it here. 😄)
On Martin Luther King Jr. Day (Jan. 21) we'll have our 'official Christmas'. Our Oregonian grandson and his parents will be here then.
So the decorations are staying up!
I say all that to say that our holiday season has kind of been 'chill' this year, even though it's longer.
Do I like 'chill'?
YES!!!
Oh, and one way I'm chilling this year is because I have a new major 'chill' granddog!!
Her name is Ella and she is so very sweet.
Nell and her family adopted her and she fits in our lives wonderfully, and peacefully.
