My Favorite Things

I have MORE favorite things!

Here's one...

Two years ago as I was flying to Portland from DFW I saw a well-dressed lady coloring in a color book. She was smiling all the while... and I understand why.
Coloring can be so therapeutic... and my dear daughter has published a coloring book that can be purchased on Amazon.com!! (click 'coloring book')

Here are some of my pages that I've colored...

I used colored pencils on these, but will try fine-tipped colored markers on the next page.
I did these while the news was on. (Coloring helps me listen.)

Here are some favorite pictures I like...
Our grandson was really enjoying being with his Daddy-Pap the other day.
I think Liam looks like Sam, don't you?

On a different note,
here are some quotes I like...

“There is no substitute for the comfort supplied
by the utterly taken-for-granted relationship."
-- Iris Murdoch
(I found that interesting, and comforting.)
(It made me think of Sam and me.)

Another great quote...

You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe,
deserve your love and affection.

Another great quote...

“Don’t be a stranger to what you most deeply want.
I think what God most deeply wants for you
is what you most deeply want.”
~ Father Greg Boyle

Finally I'll leave you with a favorite picture of my grandson Ransom,
with his wonderful dad, Ryan.
That was taken during Christmas time.
I love it!

And they're coming SOON (from Oregon)
to celebrate a late (but wonderful) Christmas with us.

I CAN HARDLY WAIT!!!
