Favorite Things

My first favorite thing is an event I attended.
Sunday night, February 23, Mother and I went to Grapevine First Baptist Church's Youth Dinner.

We got to see my great niece (Mother's great granddaughter) Caroline performing on the keyboard!

Here she is accompanying a harpist...
That man on the right with the black hair is her dear dad looking on lovingly.

And here you'll see Caroline on the left playing keyboard in the Girl's Band...

Here are four of us that night: from left, me (Nancy), Elizabeth, Caroline, Mother...

Here is Elizabeth standing while we all sang the "Happy Birthday"song to her and another person there.
Yes, it was Elizabeth's birthday Sunday Feb. 23!!!

And here is the centerpiece of our table...

It was a wonderful evening under the stars!!! And there was a huge silent auction that wrapped around the room, with all the money going to the wonderful youth ministry at FBC, Grapevine.

I'm still smiling about that night.

My next favorite thing is a tip I got in the tea room on Valentine's Day...
You see that?
It is a dollar bill in the shape of a heart!
Pretty clever, huh?

The next favorite thing is this meal...
Sam and I split the Chicken and Waffle entree at Breadwinner's Cafe in Trophy Club.
We had driven by the place many times, and finally stopped.

My last favorite thing is the fact that TORCHY'S TACOS is coming to the Euless' Glade Parks area!
That is really close to us!

Now my mouth is watering for some reason.

Have a great day.
