We should have a party, Grammy!

Penelope Faye said that.
We call her Nell.
She said that we need to have a party since I was in her house!!

She said that this past Thursday.

We hadn't been together in 11 months.
I would go into our play room and, really, grieve.
That's because of the Coronavirus.

Sam and I really quarantined.
And boy was I missing Nell.

And then I found out she was going to bed with a picture of me. Wow.
It made me feel good (she hadn't forgotten me) and yet sad (she missed me).

Yes, we missed each other so much.

But last week Nell came to our house...

She'd grown a bit, but acted like her old self in our playroom!

AND, she gave me some Valentines she'd made for me!!

Here are some up close...

I get to see these on my fridge every time I go in the kitchen. 💗
Is that not wonderful?!

AND Nell made this for me...

I can put my rings on it...
Thank you, Nell!!!!!!

And here is Nell with me (taking her picture) with her sweet pets, Ella the dog, and Yoshi the cat.
Yes, I was in her house!!
(And yes, we kind of acted like we were having a party.)

Nell and I have always been close... as you can see.

We both had short hair then.

That's all for today.
I'll tell you more about Penelope Faye later.
(She's thriving in first grade - and at gymnastics!)

My hometown...

I am thinking of my hometown now. Mission, Texas. And McAllen, Texas. And Mercedes, Texas, where I was born. And Donna, Texas, so near there...
